One of the most anticipated out of all the animated adaptations of Netflix is ‘The Last Airbender’ which is an upcoming Netflix Originals live-action fantasy adventure series.

Reportedly, it is one of the projects that Netflix has adapted from the Nickelodeon library. Everyone can get nostalgic as ‘The Last Airbender’ is one of the most prominent shows in the mid-2000s.

The creators of the show were Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. We also witnessed a movie of The Last Airbender which was released in 2010 but didn’t go as well as we expected.

What is The Plot of Avatar: The Last Airbender?

We all might know about the plot of The Last Airbender. Many of you for whom the story is long lost would still remember Aang the only Avatar capable of using all the four elements. In simple terms, a bald guy with an arrow on his forehead – everyone remembers him.

In the place where Avatar: The Last Airbender stays is a civilization that is split amongst four nations. The four nations are named as air nomads, earth kingdom, fire nation, and the water tribes.

Has Tidelands Season 2 been dropped or renewed?

• Nine months after the release of the show we haven’t heard anything about its future. The show’s future seems like in the dark. It usually takes around several months to decide if a show is to be renewed unfortunately that’s not the case with Tidelands
• The social media handler of the show have fallen in the dark 

Any shows social media account are a prominent source to know about the happenings around the show but it’s not the case with Tidelands twitter account, it has gone into dark since the end of January 2019 and likewise, the Facebook account seems to be frozen. Here’s a snippet of the last tweet from the Tidelands account.

Fans are desperate for a renewal of the show and they keep posting about it but any official response hasn’t been given to them so far

A group of movie companies have come together and filed a lawsuit against all the operators of several websites that promote and distribute the Showbox app.

Not only Showbox but all the applications that are alike can be accessed by millions of users. The application has a Netflix/Amazon Prime style interface where users can stream movies via torrent or online viewing.

There have been complaints recently also from those behind the movies which are: ‘The Hitman’s Bodygaurd’, ‘London Has Fallen’ and ‘Hunter Killer’. Showbox has been alleged for massive piracy at the U.S. District Court in Hawaii.

The Massive Piracy Case

The original developer is still hidden. Another name that comes into the picture is Pakistani Mohammed Zarlish who promotes and distributes Showbox and alike apps.

Although, Mohammed Zarlish has agreed to pay $150,000 USD to the producers and filmmakers to those who’ve filed the complaint against him.

Mohammed Zarlish’s response to this allegation is that he wasn’t aware of the illegal nature of the Showbox app. Which wasn’t accepted by the judges at the court and a settlement was made.

It was ensured that $150,000 USD was paid to the filmmakers and also that further utility and promotion of such applications are forbidden.

Strict monitoring is being carried out for people like Zarlish.

The filmmakers and producers are on high alert due to the existence of such illegal systems existing on the internet and investigations are in process for the original creators of applications like Showbox and Moviebox.

Conclusion

The U.S. District Court in Hawaii has taken care of the issue by abolishing all such applications such as Popcorn Time, Cinemabox, Terrarium, Mobdro and much more.

As users, it will be wise to support the film industry by standing against piracy and fraud. As such applications are also a reason for other scams that may happen.
